Here’s to Tommy.
Lauren and Matt never met a Tommy that didn’t have spunk. And so on July 4th, we all welcomed the first-born Engel to the extended family. Naturally, Tommy’s adorable, sweet and spunky, much like his mother.
Here’s to us.
It’s official: Duffy & Shanley is one of the best places to work around here. This time, however, it’s not just our PR department saying so, it’s Providence Business News. In fact, Rhode Island’s 30 top places were chosen by PBN, in conjunction with the Best Companies Group and Modern Think, using a thorough company assessment and anonymous employee questionnaire. Much love also goes out to our clients Cox Communications and Collette Vacations who made the cut as well. Read an endorsement of D&S that’s actually relatively objective, in this article (pdf).
Here’s to more shameless self-promotion.
David t. Jones must be important. He uses his middle initial, often in lower case. And in addition to all the really important work he’s been doing as CD or ACD or GCD or something at FCB in Chicago, David puts out the smartest, funniest, and only cartoon strip in ADWEEK.
In his mid-July experiment, “The Big Sellout,” he was kind enough to whore it up for Gansett, Gaga’s SherBetter, EuroSocks, and Foster Grant (as well as almost-client Uncle Sam cereal. You owe us one, Bob Hoffman). Hey, who are we to turn down a sellout? Cheers.
And speaking of Gansett Light…
You’re not going to believe this one, from the debut episode of Cavemen.
